Another Round, No Thanks to COVID

Somehow, we’re still breathing after the things the world is going through. For some it’s been though, having to distance from their friends and families, and for others is a good break and an opportunity to do new activities.

As of me, I’ve been thinking a lot about what’s going to happen when everything goes back to normal, hopefully soon. Doesn’t seem like it’s going to be better, even if a cure for the COVID appears. BUT, let’s not get into the negative side of things.

Some news

I’ve been working on my review of the anime called Boogiepop and Others, it’s going to be published on Friday. It was an interesting thing for me to watch.

Can’t say my writing has been fluent, with the constant worries about the near future it’s been hard to be focused, as much as I try, my mind ends up thinking about the upcoming crisis. However, when my mind, somehow, manages to be clear, I work in another short story and other blog entries. The next short story that is going to be published, hopefully, two weeks from now, is not directly related to my project called For Her Moon. I hope you like it.

I guess that’s it for now. It’s been a slow month for my blog, just when I though the quarantine would help me to write more with the forced free time. Wrong.

Hey, but we’re still here, healthy, and that’s what matters most!

Prelude Tomorrow

Update. After all this time? Alw… no, what I really meant was that, after all my promises on short stories, the first one is going to be posted tomorrow!

The title is A Sight of the Moon, and it’s going to be a prelude of my novel—the project called For Her Moon.

Please, share my stories if you like them! Remember, sharing is caring. ❤ Also, feel free to comment. All feedback is welcome, if you like my story, if you love it; even if you hate it, I welcome you all here!

While you’re reading this, I’m already working on my next short story. The next one is going to be independent from the project For Her Moon. Originally, it was meant to be a micro-story to use for a challenge. Unfortunately, the short story (title TBA), can’t be too short to participate on that challenge. Though I didn’t tell how short it was meant to be, I thought that person wouldn’t take the time to read the story as it really is. Hope you like it, too! I’ll let you know the date for that one soon.

Lord, Can’t Stop

Lord, can’t stop writing. This should be a good thing, right? Sure, I guess I could agree. However, I am still trying to find an identity to this blog. So I am planning a few things that might change one hour after I have this update posted. Who knows? I know nothing either.

This is what I have in mind, at the moment:

One of the things I’ve been doing so far, is to add an image at the top of my posts as a featured photo. That’s one of the things that might change in the future.

This image

Indeed, this photo

Although I think one shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, I’m just going to use the image for the main posts: blogs, stories, reviews… well, almost all of my content. EXCEPT, for the updates.

All updates, from now on, shall be posted without a featured image. Just like I’m doing with this update.

Other thing I grew fond of, is the fact that this place/website feels more as a home to me; my little space where I can go and write anything, express my feelings (without going too personal, of course), and simply talk about random stuff.

Most of the things I write under “Blogs” category are usually random, but sometimes I just feel like writing a few lines to tell something. I’m not sure if I should use featured images for micro-blogs. Not sure, to be honest.

This is it, for now. My short stories are coming soon, the first one a prelude of my project called For Her Moon, and I would appreciate a lot if you share my stories if you like them. The first story will be posted on Sunday!

As always, everybody’s welcome to comment or just say hi.

Preludes to Come

A prelude to come.

This is just a quick update for what’s to come.

I’ve been taking my time to schedule posts. Blogs and reviews. Of course, I don’t plan to limit this place to blog entries; the main reason this place exists is to start posting short stories, gain followers in the process (if you like my content), and talk about my novel.

As you might think, my first novel must be self-published as I don’t have many followers on my social media. Before thinking about publishing, I was taking my time to write and edit. I had to start all over once.

Believe me, I am doing my best to write my novel, but I don’t want to rush things out either. There’s no point on having it published if no one is going to see it in the first place.

For now, though, I am working on short stories. Most of them have absolutely nothing to do with the novel. However, the first short story that’ll be posted on March 15th is a prelude of that project. I hope you like it.
